Sometimes I wonder if not reading the newspapers is a good idea, but if it weren't where would I get my laughs from. Some nuggets

1. PDF Scheme
The government of Punjab launched a lottery called the Punjab Development Fund with the tag line
"pachees ruppay main dhaee karrore". So you bought a ticket, and could win lots of money if your number came up.
A certain gentleman has gone to the High Court petitioning that this must be stopped because

a. He was sold two tickets with the same numbers, and more interestingly
b. Lottery is un Islamic, and so be it.

Bhatti Saab of Larkana, I am with you my friend. They have the gall to sell you two tickets with the same number, how dare they? I mean that makes it double un Islamic.

2. FL
FL made another bold statement while on his current tour, he told MM not to go abroad because the NGOs are the devil's instruments. I love you my man, I wonder if your paranoid schizophrenia has a cure?

3. Further developments in MM story
A woman senator declared that MM should shut up and seek justice from Allah. Why not? Lets just do away with the courts and police, we dont even need the legislative assembly. If you get robbed or killed, you will get justice in the next world right? So why are we spending so much money on police and judges, its a total waste.

4. PTCL
I met a guy yesterday who informed me that PTCL's staff is the smartest bunch of people on earth, and getting the Arabs to run PTCL would be a mistake since they are all a bunch of morons.
